Organised by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, “Breakfast Bites” is a series of free, informal breakfast meetings for food businesses.
The aim of the meetings is to provide practical information on topics for those who are working on their own, in a small food business or who want to get a new food business off the ground.
Ciara McDonagh of Teagasc’s Food Industry Development Department will give an overview of the main stages involved in developing a new product, focusing on the technical requirements and important scale-up factors.
She works with small food businesses and startups, providing advice on how they can turn their ideas into real food products.
There will be an opportunity to ask her questions at the end of the presentation.
